Thanks for joining me and get ready to be inspired. Hey, hey, welcome back to the show, you guys, and happy almost Christmas and holiday season. Whatever holiday you celebrate, if you do. I hope you are about to have an awesome one, and that includes the winter solstice, you guys, that is coming up on the 21st, and this is a big reason of why I wanted to produce the podcast that I'm doing for you right now, because I'm a big believer that if we're going to manifest, if we're going to look ahead to our new year, it really should be done on or about the timing of the winter solstice, because that is really when we are sort of propelling into this new version.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so I have a little free. Well, it's actually a pretty meaty freebie for you. It is a PDF of 30 journal prompts. Now, I love doing journaling at the end of a year, beginning of a new year, as some of you already know, because I've done this quite a few times in the past. But this is a little bit different. So I always like my journal prompts to really work with your unconscious mind and use your unconscious mind to get the most change possible. But this year I'm kind of taking that even a step further, right? So the name of this free PDF that you guys can get access to in the show notes just click below is called In my 2024 Era.

Speaker 1:

You know, really helping you to envision this future version of yourself, because that version of yourself already exists. Okay, she or he is already out there, being amazing, accomplishing all the things. And what you have to do to get that right, first of all, is to get clarity on what it is that you actually want that future version of yourself to be like, and then to embody the feeling of that future version of yourself. Okay, you can't just do affirmations. It doesn't work like that. Affirmations are great, but they do not work on their own. Anybody who tells you that they do is not telling you the whole truth, or they just don't know how this process works. Right, what really really works and what gets this to really really stick is if you actually feel in your body what it feels like to already have what that version of yourself has. Right, who that version is, how do they operate, how do they feel? What do they do on the daily, what kind of things do they smell, what kind of surroundings are they in, who do they hang around with? All of these things matter, engaging all of your senses and all of your feelings and your emotions. That is what's going to propel that version of yourself to you right now Because, remember, time is not really linear.

Speaker 1:

We know that it's not a linear thing like we once thought it was. You have to expand and open up to the possibility that that version of yourself is already existing in that time space, right? So all you got to do is match that energy and you can get to that version of yourself so much quicker. So these journal prompts that I'm including for you guys as a bonus to this episode, they really are going to help you, guide you through that process step by step. And again, I know that this is a very busy time of year. I get it, trust me, but I truly believe that if you carve out some time to really dig in and get this done before January 1st, you are going to, first of all, be able to check this off your list and it's going to feel really good and, second of all, you're really making a bold statement to the universe that you are actually already, right now.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and use the energy of the winter solstice and the energy of a new year to help propel you where you want to go. Okay, we got to use everything that we have access to, and just astrologically, if you're into that as well. The astrology for the winter solstice, the 21st and actually into the 22nd a little bit, is really really good for this whole manifestation thing. So I would highly recommend doing some sort of ritual the night of the solstice, if you can. That's going to be tomorrow night.

Speaker 1:

If you're listening to this podcast, the day that it is released, the winter solstice is technically peaking at like 730pm Pacific time on the 21st. Now what that means is it is the shortest day of the year and the longest night of the year, so you really want to be doing a ritual that is going to bring the light right. So it's a beautiful night to do a fire inside or outside, whatever you like. You can go deeper with that ritual if you like and burn different sorts of herbs, bring out your crystals, write out your manifestations. You can burn all of these things in the fire if you like, but the whole idea is that you are bringing in the light, you are keeping the light. That's why in pagan rituals, the yule log is burned all night long, so that it is a symbolic way for us to say that we are holding the light, and I mean, I'm sorry, guys, but we need to be holding as much light as we possibly can right now in this crazy world.

Speaker 1:

So do what you can with what you have, and I think that it's just a really beautiful way to step into this new year and this new version of yourself. Okay, so I've got the PDF for you. All you gotta do is hit the link in the show notes and you can download that. Get to work on that ASAP, if you possibly can, and I also am gonna walk you guys through in just a minute, sort of a condensed, guided visualization that is going to help you in all of this manifestation stuff. Okay, it's gonna help you embody, it's going to help you really start to act as if because that's what we really want to do right now. We want to act as if this version of ourselves is already here and to be grateful. That's really the key to be grateful for that version of yourself and everything that that version already has, being grateful for that now and also being grateful for what you already have.

Speaker 1:

You cannot manifest a better life for yourself if you are hating the life that you have. Okay, I'm gonna say that again. You can't manifest something amazing when you are constantly talking about how crappy everything is. It doesn't work like that, right? If you're constantly talking about how crappy things are, how hard your life is, how much you are not satisfied with maybe the house you live in, or the studio that you rent, or the camera equipment that you own, or the business that you have, or the clients that you seem to attract, If you're constantly talking about that and you have this dialogue of everything that is not right, all that you're doing is telling the universe that you want more of that, because the universe doesn't hear the negatives. It doesn't hear the I don't want crappy clients. All it hears is I want crappy clients.

Speaker 1:

So you really have to be very clear in how you speak to the universe and ultimately, to your unconscious mind, because your unconscious mind also does not hear all of those it doesn't hear. It's like I always tell people it's kind of like when we talk to kids when they're little, we're always told as parents, don't tell your kids to don't run in the house, because all they're going to hear is run in the house. So we really want to speak in the affirmative with our unconscious mind and the affirmative to the universe, right. So we want to be putting things in specifics, and the more specific that we can get with the sounds, the smells, the feelings, the emotions of everything that is happening around us in this future version of ourselves, then the faster we're going to be able to get there to pull it toward us, because that is what we will be putting out as our radio beacon. We're going to be putting out something in the affirmative.

Speaker 1:

So, instead of saying things like I really hate my camera, equipment or man, I could really be so much better of a photographer if I just had a better camera. Okay, well, let's reframe that, let's put that into a little bit different of you know way of speaking. You know, like, put it into specifics, right. So I'm so grateful that I have this amazing Nikon Z9 and I'm so grateful that I have the 85 millimeter lens to go on it. I love the images that I take with this camera. I love how sharp it is. I love how it feels in my hands. I love how I can help my clients feel so beautiful and so seen Like.

Speaker 1:

I want you to go there. I want you to go down the rabbit hole of all the feelings, all the amazing outcomes of that thing that you want. Okay, so again, just to make sure you got this. You cannot manifest an amazing life for yourself, or you know amazing tools or whatever it is that you're trying to manifest and bring toward. You can't do that if you are constantly hating on what you already have. You've got to be grateful for the now. So look around you. Love that crappy camera, be grateful for that crappy camera. Then say thank you to it. Thank you for taking me as far as you have. I'm so grateful for all of my software that I was able to invest in this year. I'm so grateful for this house that I live in.

Speaker 1:

Like, really allow yourself to be in a place of gratefulness for what you have. Okay and I know you guys have probably heard this from a million different people over the years but there's a reason why that so many people say the same thing about gratefulness. It's because you are completely shifting your energetic imprint when you step into gratefulness. Okay, so we know this. From neuroscience, from energetics, all kinds of modalities, you can find proof of the fact that this really works. When you step into this place of gratefulness, you're opening your heart, you're opening up all of your energy systems and you are really allowing yourself to receive right, which is super important. We've talked about that a lot on this podcast. We have to be able to be open to receiving if we want something.

Speaker 1:

But also you are literally changing your energy immediately when you step into gratefulness, and so that's one of the reasons why I always tell people, if you are feeling particularly in scarcity, right, if you are really, really feeling like the oh my God, money's tight or whatever it is, and you cannot break that cycle in your brain and it just keeps running and running and running. The easiest and the fastest way to really break through that is to put yourself in gratefulness as fast as possible. So it could be just literally looking around you and saying thank you for the fact that I can afford electricity right now, thank you for the fact that I was able to buy groceries this week. Anything I can't feel for literally anything. But the more specific and the deeper you go with it, the better, because, again, your unconscious mind learns by experience, and the good news is that it doesn't know what is quote, unquote real or not. So you can make it up, you can tell your unconscious mind that you have all of this amazing stuff, and it is going to believe it if you also feel it in your body.

Speaker 1:

The other thing that you can do, just as a side note, is give something away. If you want to like, immediately, feel better, give something away, whether it's like $5, you know, send somebody five bucks on Venmo. Maybe you have some things around the house that you don't need anymore and there's somebody that you know who could use them. Give something away because you are literally just putting yourself into a completely different space energetically. When you do that, you're putting yourself in service, you're taking yourself out of the equation, you're getting out of the whole me, me, me, me. Overthinking, right, because overthinking is a lot of me, me, me and you're putting yourself in the service of others and other persons centered. So that's going to open your heart, it's going to change that energetic imprint and you're going to start emitting a different frequency because, remember, your unconscious mind is just going to keep pulling you back to safety. It is. There's no growth in safety at all and so there's no effort, right. So it is up to you to do these things. It is up to you.

Speaker 1:

I just did a real yesterday and it's talking about my productivity hacks and really their mindset hacks so that I can be productive, and so many people have messaged me about that, and I also did a longer form version of that for my TikTok, because TikTok is really preferring us to do longer videos right now. So I'm definitely experimenting, just as a side note, with some different types of content so that I can help all of you guys understand them better too. But I digress. The point is that I've gotten a lot of feedback already from so many of you guys who were like oh my God, thank you for sharing these, because they're simple little tricks that you can do. So if you haven't seen it, go to my Instagram, you'll see it. It's me rolling up my backdrop right and that's the video of it.

Speaker 1:

And then in the caption is the list of these productivity hacks, and one of them is that I don't allow notifications to come through unless I want my notifications to come through. So in the morning I don't have it on a timer where the sleep just goes off automatically. I have to physically click that on and off, because when I wake up in the morning, yeah, I'm going to look at my phone, because I'm going to look at the time. I'm going to make sure you know I probably press snooze on my alarm. But I don't want my lock screen to be a whole bunch of notifications of crap that I have missed, because it is going to immediately put me in fight or flight, no matter what, like even if it's good news, right, it's going to like jumpstart my nervous system and I don't want to jumpstart my nervous system.

Speaker 1:

In the morning. I like to wake up feeling really good and calm and I like to carry that through the rest of my day, so I'm definitely not going to allow my notifications to control me, right? So one of the things that I really suggest you guys do too is your lock screen on your phone. You can control that. Make it something that you actually love looking at. For me, it's my vision board. I have like this really cool little collage of what I want to be working toward, right? How do I want my mindset to be? What do I want to be thinking about on the daily? What do I want to feel like? That's my lock screen. So that's the first thing that I see in the morning, not all of these notifications. And again, if my kids need me, you know they are set to my favorites list. They know they can call me and get through my do not disturb. So I'm not worried about missing true emergencies. Like the people in my family, they can get through if they need to, but everybody else can wait. They really can wait, because I want to start my day the way I want to start my day.

Speaker 1:

I got to set the tone and as creatives you know there's that joke, right Squirrel. Well, it's true, we get so distracted so fast, especially in today's world with social media the way that it is. How can you not, even if you're not neuro spicy, you're going to get sucked into social media if you allow yourself to do so. So it's up to you to decide not to let that happen, and this is one of the best and easiest ways to do that is to just start your day on the way that you want to start it and not the way that you know you're allowing the world or social media to dictate it to you. So for me, that looks like, you know, going into getting dressed in the morning. I'm going to be listening to what I want to listen to. I'm not going to get on social media. I have a list of podcasts that I know are going to help me set the tone, or audio books or a YouTube creator that I love, whatever that is, it's going to be something that is an alignment with where I want my mind set to be for the rest of that day, because otherwise, how are you setting the tone for your day?

Speaker 1:

You know, I really really am a big believer in that. So if that's all you can do and you feel like you know life is chaotic and you've got you know to get the kids to school and do all these crazy things in the morning, I get it. If you can at least control what you see first thing in the morning on your phone, let that be it right. Like, let that be a very easy way to guide yourself into a much calmer morning process. So, with that being said, I really want you to take this PDF that I've created for you and allow yourself to go as deep and as specific as you possibly can with it. Okay, that's what really gets all of this to actually work and to stick is if you can allow it to be integrated into your body, like close your eyes and really feel what it feels like to be this version and all of these little different scenarios that I prompt you in those journal prompts.

Speaker 1:

Allow yourself to feel what it feels like to you know. See the colors around you, to smell Like. I don't know about you, but smell is really one of my heightened senses. Like I always say, I kind of have like superhero smelling. Sometimes that cannot be a good thing, by the way, but for the most part it is. You know, a superpower, I think, and so I can really use smells to get me like either in or out right, I can get myself in a really good place really fast or out of a bad place really fast with smells, because I know that about myself. So I want you to use your senses in a way that is going to help you propel yourself to that future version of yourself as quickly as possible. You have all the tools that you need. Okay, just like, just like in the Wizard of Oz, when Glinda says you've had the power all along. Right, it's the same same idea. You've had everything that you need. But sometimes we just need to be reminded, and so that's the goal with these prompts.

Speaker 1:

I really want you to reflect on this past year as well. I really want you to think about what went right. You know what went right, and also, what other feedback did you get? I'm not going to talk about failure here, because there's no such thing as failure, just feedback. So I don't want you to think about it in terms of judging yourself on things that you know you didn't necessarily accomplish, that you wanted to, okay. Well, what's the feedback there? What did that bring up for you? What did that trigger for you? Because you know there's that saying that God, the universe, whatever you want to call it, doesn't give you what you are necessarily praying for. I mean, if you're praying for courage or confidence, you're not going to just be given that and zapped it. You're going to be given the opportunity to find it right. There's opportunities in everything, and so what opportunities were presented for you this year in the things that you actually did accomplish and the things that you maybe didn't get to accomplish that you wanted to? What else is there? What kind of lessons and learnings and takeaways can you bring forth into 2024 with you from those?

Speaker 1:

So if you're using it in that way, then it's nothing but good, right? It's not about spiritually bypassing it to just positivity. It's about reframing it, because doesn't it feel better to feel good? Doesn't it feel better to look at it in this way, as opposed to just beating yourself up all the time. I mean, creatives are very, very prone to the self-hatred, the negative self-talk, you know, the overthinking, the really really, really strong negative saboteur. We are more prone to that than the average person. I really do believe that, and so it's really up to us to understand that, to recognize it and to step into that driver's seat and understand that you absolutely do have the tools.

Speaker 1:

You just might need a little bit of guidance to get back on track, and that's why I'm here and that's why you're listening to this podcast. So let's actually dive into a little bit of a visualization. Okay, so, this is not going to be if you've done any of my hypnosis or anything like that, or if you have calibrate my other private podcast feed with all of those types of things on it. It's not going to be as deep and as long as that. This is just a little taste. I want to get you on the right path. I want you to get it's like a little gateway drug into really really diving into this future. You, okay. So this is more of a future self visualization.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So, if you can find a comfortable spot, if you can. You can even, you know, do some deep breathing and you can close your eyes. It is ideal for you to be able to do that if you can. So, if you are driving your car obviously you're not going to be doing that right now. You can still listen to this. It's not like you're going to, you know, go into a trance or anything. You can still listen to this and then just come back to it later when you have a minute to actually integrate it and to be able to be a little bit more intentional with the visualization. Okay, so this is something you can do over and over again. Come back to this podcast and get a little taste of it when you need it. Okay, that's what it's here for.

Speaker 1:

So give yourself permission to just venture in to the sanctuary of your inner mind. Okay, take a deep breath in, let the air fill your lungs, hold it there for just a moment and then release it, carrying away all and any thoughts of worries that don't serve you right now. Raise your gaze, if you can, to a point just above your eye line where your eyes can just rest very easily without any strain. Allow the focus of your eyes to soften, inviting your eyelids to close when they're ready, and feel the gentle pull of relaxation, the comfort veil of tranquility, your shoulders start to descend, they start to relax, everything in your body starts to relax and as your eyelids flutter, you descend deeper into your creative realm, free to explore the possibilities within. And as we go a little bit deeper, know that we are communicating directly with your unconscious mind. Your unconscious mind is the wellspring of creativity, where boundless ideas come alive and as you listen to my words, your unconscious mind absorbs them like a sponge, translating them into thoughts, feelings and actions that amplify your creative energy.

Speaker 1:

Imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a new world, the world of 2024. And as you step forward, feel a sense of excitement and possibility course through your entire body. This is a world shaped by your dreams, your creativity and your actions. See yourself moving through the year with confidence and purpose. Visualize your projects coming to life, your ideas flourishing and your goals being achieved. Notice the people around you, the collaborations that inspire you and the accomplishments that fill you with pride.

Speaker 1:

I want you to envision yourself now walking through a beautiful lush garden. It is a gorgeous day, the sun is out, shining on you. It feels amazing. It's not too hot, too cold. The humidity is just right. Everything is actually perfect. In these surroundings, all your senses feel calm, your nervous system feels regulated, because everything just feels really good. So, as you're walking through this beautiful garden, I want you to allow your imagination to just conjure up any and all representation of what beauty means to you. Maybe it's a forest filled with trees of giant redwoods, maybe it's a beautiful, curated green garden or full of flowers, or maybe one particular flower that is your favorite. I want you to notice the smells. I want you to smell and inhale all of the beautiful smells around you. Again, it's a perfect day. You feel amazing. Notice who's with you at this time. Are there any people walking along with you? Do you see anyone you know on the path ahead of you? What's inside of this garden or forest or beautiful place of nature? Maybe it's even by an ocean. Maybe you can smell the ocean breeze.

Speaker 1:

I want you to allow your unconscious mind to bring forward whatever it is that you need to see at this moment and as you walk through this beautiful, beautiful place, see yourself moving throughout the entire year of 2024 with confidence and purpose. Visualize these projects coming to life, your ideas and creativity, just flourishing and organized and efficient, and your goals being achieved. What are the collaborations that inspire you, what kind of accomplishments that fill you with pride? What kinds of things do you do in all of the downtime that you have, because there's so much more to life than just work Up ahead? You see a figure radiating confidence and fulfillment, your future self. Approach them with curiosity. Observe their demeanor, their joy, their sense of accomplishment. Really take in this future you. What is that version of yourself wearing? What is that version of yourself doing? How do they Move through their day? How does their body feel? What are their facial expressions? Observe all of these little specificities and allow your unconscious mind to come up with every single detail that it wants to go big, be expansive, be specific.

Speaker 1:

Ask this version of yourself for guidance, for wisdom, for a message to carry back with you. What does this version of yourself have to say to you? What does he or she tell you is important for you to know right now. Listen intently as your future self shares insights and encouragements, hear their words of wisdom, feel their confidence infuse into you and understand the steps they took to reach this point in 2024. This version of you is at the end of 2024 and has already done all of these amazing things, has already had a beautiful year, has already touched so many people's lives. This version of you has already done all of these wonderful, beautiful things, and this version of you is happy, secure and confident.

Speaker 1:

This version of you doesn't overthink. This version of you trusts their gut instinct. They know, they have the answers. Allow yourself to really soak in all the energy of this future version of yourself. Be in it. Be in that moment. Take in all the sights around you, take in all the smells. Feel the grass beneath your feet. Maybe throw your shoes off and run through it. If you're in a forest, maybe there's a slight chill to the air, but it's not cold. It just feels invigorating. What season is it? What season do you identify with the most? Be in that season. Maybe this is a beautiful surrounding that you have had a vision for since childhood, or maybe it is from a place of childhood. Whatever it is, it's perfect just for you, and this version of yourself is sharing all of their insights to you, as you are just soaking it all in, without judgment and without fear, because you know that this is the highest version of yourself and you trust that this version has all the answers. This version of yourself is all of your love, all of your confidence, all of your creativity. It is 100% positive and it feels really, really good to be there.

Speaker 1:

So, as you prepare to return to the now, your future self hands you something. It's a symbolic object, a token of your journey and of your potential. Take it in your hand, hold it close to your heart, look down at it. What is it? What is this symbolic object that your future self has given you? What does it mean for you? What kind of symbolism does it carry for you? What does it symbolize for this future version of yourself? Is there a hidden secret that 2024? You knows that you now know as well. Hold it close, soak it in and take it back with you. Carry this vision with you as you slowly start to bring your awareness back to the present and just feel the energy of your 2024 self within you, now, guiding you and inspiring you. Take a deep breath, feel the ground beneath you and, when you're ready, just gently open your eyes, if you have them closed, and integrate all of that into the now. Put a big smile on your face, welcome yourself back with this vision and this wisdom to now shape your year ahead.

So again, that's not a super deep hypnosis or anything like that, but I just want you to understand that you can give yourself the gift of a quick little visualization like this anytime you need it what metaphors are most meaningful to you in your life? You can draw upon that and use them and create some of your own visualizations as well. If you're into that kind of thing and if not, just come back here because I've got some for you. And also on Calibrate, again, I go a lot deeper, into an actual hypnosis sessions. I really believe in the power of hypnosis. I feel like it has been. I know that it's been very impactful for me and for my clients and I am very much diving into even more of that in 2024 because I feel like things have just been kind of crazy for me this year in a good way. But I want to get back to that. I want to get back to creating more specialized hypnosis and so those of you in my programs, those of you in Elevate, those of you in my one-on-ones, you're going to be getting a lot more access to hypnosis, to visualizations, to activations, all of these things to help your unconscious mind reprogram at a much faster rate. So, yeah, that's, that's part of my 2024. I have a lot of really fun things coming up, actually that I'm very excited about.

I have a bit of a crazy January, which leads me to my next little point of discussion. I am going to be taking a break from the podcast for the next couple of weeks because it is the holidays and I do want to be present with my kids, who are in from college and from work and life, and so I'm going to be just taking a little bit of downtime to obviously enjoy them and my family and the holidays. But I will be back in a couple of weeks and so make sure you check back. So he and I are going to be driving that back. We're going to be doing the southern route. We're not going to do the northern route because it's winter. We did that in 2021 when I drove with him during the summer, but now that it's winter, we're going to take the lower route. So we're going to be going through Oklahoma City, the tip of Arkansas, we're going to stop in Nashville for a night and then we're going to go up through like Virginia and up through that way hit New York City, because we we got to stop in NYC for a night and then we'll be back in Boston.

And then the following weekend, january 26th through the 29th, I'm hosting a workshop here in LA for my Elevate members. I had mentioned this on a podcast a couple weeks ago and I'm super excited about that. Learn from me in the moment, which is the best way to do it, because I go really, really fast. It makes it a little bit hard for me to kind of create a lot of videos, because I really am an intuitive shooter I think I'm not really sure if that's the right word, but I have some processes, but honestly, it really depends on my client, it depends on the environment. I use a lot of movement and I shoot really fast, and so the best way to learn from me is to actually be right next to me. So this is your chance to do that. And yes, I am still enrolling for Elevate, which is my group coaching program. There are two different levels for that. If you are interested in the higher level, which is called evolution, which I believe is the most impactful, it's more like a member mind. It's not as expensive as a mastermind and way more than a membership, because we have access to coaching inside of that. If you are interested in that, definitely takes a action on ASAP, because we're getting down to the wire. Spots are limited, it is filling up and the deadline is approaching. That one is a six month commitment. We go from January through June, but if you join now, before the end of December, you get access to everything now, so you can get a head start during your holidays, you can dive into the education portal, you can listen to all the past calls, you can look at all the stuff that I have for you inside the portal, and then the calls and the voxer support starts in January. If you know that education and coaching is on your vision board for 2024, go ahead and make it happen. It's the best gift that you can give yourself. Honestly, I know that investing in yourself if you've never done it yet is really scary. You can feel really, really intimidating. But I promise you, when you do it in alignment, when it feels aligned to something, that you know that internal pull, like you really trust it and you know that, yes, this is the next right step for me.

There's so much goodness on the other side of that. It's just kind of getting through that initial you know part of fear, that initial part of like, oh my god, I you know this is how dare I, how dare I put myself first. I get it, but we really really want you to put yourself first. Okay, like, your higher self wants that for you. I want that for you. The universe wants that for you because you are already worthy of it. You're worthy now. Okay, you don't have to get to some place to be worthy, and it's not necessarily that you deserve this. We all deserve it. We're all worthy of all of the goodness that we desire. It is absolutely there for you, it is absolutely ready for you to receive and I really hope that, if you hear nothing else from this podcast, I hope you hear that. So I love you guys. I hope you have a beautiful holiday and I hope that involves quite a bit of downtime and relaxing and integrating and really being present in the moment and being grateful in the moment for what it is that you have, and I cannot wait to see all the amazing stuff you do that we all do in 2024.
